Melted Silhouettes

A familiar pattern taken from Lyu’s childhood in Mozhga, Udmurt Republic is repeated in a soft, pliable plasticine, drifting across its plywood base like a memory in motion. Familiar shapes sag and swell, bending into one another, folding comfort into uncertainty. A recollection of familiar silhouettes, it stages home as something mutable - inviting touch, resisting stillness, and quietly reshaping what it means to belong.
